Reardo's Ramble 2023

Saturday 15th July 2023

Marathon Walk

Wycombe Wanderers Foundation is excited to announce the launch of a new annual fundraising event -  a marathon walk, with the inaugural event taking place on Saturday 15th July, in honour of Wycombe Wanderers Legend, John Reardon.

Starting and finishing at Adams Park, covering a total distance of 26.2 miles, participants will walk through the scenic routes of High Wycombe and enjoy the beautiful views while supporting Wycombe Wanderers Foundation. Every penny raised will go directly back into our community through the good work of the foundation, who deliver a range of programmes and projects in four areas; sports participation, education, health and well-being and inclusion and cohesion.

The event is open to people of all ages and fitness levels, and participants can register for the event by filling in the booking form below!

The registration fee is £20 for a half marathon and £25 for the full marathon, with a minimum fundraising pledge of £150. Participants are encouraged to collect donations from friends, family, and colleagues to help reach the fundraising goal.

All participants will receive a completion medal after the walk, and a full refuel as WWF host a BBQ cookout at Adams Park to celebrate our achievements.

Once the individual fundraising has been completed, you will be requested to submit the full amount via the Wycombe Wanderers Foundation Just Giving page by 14th July (click here).

The routes for the walk will be confirmed by 1st July 2023.

The deadline for registration has passed

If WWF is forced to cancel  for reasons outside of our choice/control or a participant requires a refund after booking then WWF have the right to retain the booking fee of up to £4 (depending on the cost of the activity, £1 booking fee + 2.6%) when making refunds. Cancellation would be the last resort and would often be due to a key partner influence or extreme weather conditions.
