11 - 12 Nov 2020, 09:30 - 16:30
This two-day event organised by UUK is dedicated to helping universities protect their research, education activities and other expertise, without reducing the impact and reach of your institution.
Developments in technology and the digitalization of higher education have helped universities to work more efficiently and collaboratively than ever before. Connected by shared data platforms and information technology, students and staff are no longer tied to one location. Instead they can work with partners and institutions across the globe.
However, increased collaboration and data integration also brings challenges. Risks must be managed, interference prevented, and threats negotiated. In this environment, how do we set procedures that maintain trust in UK research, ensure the integrity of security procedures, and protect academic freedom and staff both here and overseas?
