20/21 Girls Development Centre Wednesday U9 to U16
Girl's Development Centre
"I am delighted to bring to our programme the Girls Development Centre! Nationally football is now the biggest team sport for women, but there is a lot of potential for further growth. The development centre is our first step in bringing an exciting programme back to Lincolnshire which ensures the female game continues to grow and we are excited for you all to come on this journey with us."
Amy Kay - Football Development Officer
“It is my great pleasure to welcome you to our Football Development Programme for the 2020-21 season. Across our successful football development programme, we pride ourselves on providing opportunities, whilst creating an inclusive and positive learning environment so children can develop their game whilst having fun!
This year will be another exciting year, especially through building on our games programme against other national club-based development programmes, but also, for the first time ever, we will see some of our age groups compete in a European based competition against overseas teams.
Our aim has always been to embed the correct techniques right from the outset, encouraging young footballers to play and develop naturally. I believe football should always be played with a smile, although for those aspiring to excel in the game, we offer genuine through-routes and pathways for those exceptionally talented players.
To all the existing players, I look forward to seeing you, to the new faces on the programme, welcome.”
Raj Randhawa - Community Manager
The programme will start on Wednesday 2nd September 2020 (depending on government COVID-19 advice) for 10 months (40 sessions in total). If COVID-19 disrupts the start date, we will still offer a 10-month programme (40 sessions) by adjusting the end date to compensate any sessions missed.
