Day : Wednesday (sessions start 4th September 2019)
Time : Mini Imps 5-6pm
: U7-U11/12 (Under 16s Advanced) 5:30pm-7pm
: GK 5:30-6:30pm

The Development Centres that we run are sessions that are open to all local players who would like to train and progress with Lincoln City Football Club. The Development centres act as part of the Lincoln City FC player development pathway and do offer a route into our Advanced Development Centres for those players who really work hard and show signs of higher level performance, but just as importantly offer an opportunity for keen players to receive a high level of training to help them improve and develop as players and people.
All of our Development Centres follow the same curriculum and player development methodology. The aim of our sessions is to support all players in the local area who are keen to develop as players and learn from FA Qualified coaches. We offer a unique training programme in this area that constantly places players in game realistic pressure situations that aims to support overall technical ability but also how to apply that in game pressure situations which cannot be recreated with more traditional practices that do not always involve realistic pressure.
We operate a Long-Term Development model that offers local players the opportunity to train with Lincoln City Football Club with our qualified coaches. We are not offering short term solutions and its important that parents recognise that all children develop at different times in terms of technical, physical, social and psychological abilities and what we are offering is the opportunity to train over a number of years to support players grassroots development and for those select few players who do reach the Academy level to have the best route into that environment. The most important thing is children can come to our Development Centres and train and enjoy their participation in a fun and engaging learning environment.
All players that join the Lincoln City Foundation Football Development Programme are required to pay a £10 seasonal membership.
Goalkeeper Development
Our specific goalkeeper development sessions run from 5:30 - 6:30 on a Wednesday at Birchwood Leisure Centre, they are run by our FA qualified goalkeeper coaches.

Injury policy- If a player is injured through the year you are required to let us know at the earliest point and are still required to pay to keep their place within the Open Development Centre.
