We are holding trials for our Football Development Programmes across 2024/25. At Lincoln City Football Club & Foundation we are committed to helping players of all abilities to fulfil their potential as footballers. Children who attend our trials will be directed to the appropriate session in the pathway, based on their ability, providing there are spaces in that particular session. All sessions are aligned to our Club curriculum, with the appropriate level of challenge and support.
The Foundation pathway sits under the Academy groups and consists of :
- Mini Imps (all welcome to attend, aged 3-6). These sessions are held Saturday mornings.
- Open Development Centre (all welcome to attend and formerly known as Talent Centre). These sessions are held on Saturday mornings - they do not include GK specific training but goalkeepers are included within sessions - U7 to U16.
- Development Centre and GK specific training (invitation only). Sessions are currently held on Monday evenings - U7 to U16.
- Regional Development Centre (invitation only). Sessions are held on Friday evenings - U9 to U16.
- Academy Emerging Talent (invitation only). Session are held Friday evenings. U9-U14 outfield, U7-U16 GK’s.
Please note that players already within our pathway, are continually assessed by our coaches and placed in the appropriate group for their required level of challenge.
In view of this, players currently in our pathway, do not need to attend these trials.

12.30pm to 13.45pm - U9-U12 (School year 4 - School year 7 from September 2024)
14.00pm to 15.30pm - U13-U16 (School year 8 - School year 11 from September 2024)
Venue: LNER Stadium 3G Pitch, LNER Stadium, Lincoln, LN5 8LD
Surface: Astro (3G)
Equipment: NO Football Boots with metal screws, spikes or blades. Please wear shin pads.
Parking: Parents/visitors/patrons are not permitted to park in Playzone car park. We have parking available in the Stacey West Car Park (at the end of Cross Street, turn right).
