TEAM ITFC Tour of Suffolk Cycle Challenge

TEAM ITFC is back for 2023!

We are delighted that the 150 mile Tour of Suffolk Cycle Challenge will be returning this year after an incredible event in 2022. Here is your opportunity to take up the challenge and raise much needed funds for two charities. The chosen charities are the Ipswich Town Foundation, the charitable arm of Ipswich Town Football Club and FutureStars Charity who support underprivileged children in partner schools in Ghana and Togo.

The ride will see participants take on a 150 mile cycle challenge through the glorious Suffolk Countryside. You will be part of a team of 50 cyclists and will ride an average of 75 miles per day over two days. The ride will start and finish at Ipswich Town Football Club with accommodation provided for those taking part at Potters Resort in Hopton on the Sunday evening. There will be plenty of refreshment stops along the way!

This years event will take place on Sunday 4th June & Monday 5th June.

The registration fee for this event will be £125.00 which is non-refundable and payable at time of completing registration form.

Minimum sponsorship is £1000 (excluding gift aid).

Full funds need to be raised by 3rd June 2023.

We are delighted you are joining us to take up this challenge so please complete the registration form and secure your place in Team ITFC for the Tour of Suffolk for 2023.

Please ensure you read the full Terms & Conditions below, signing up to take part indicates full agreement to them:
Entry fees for the Tour of Suffolk Cycle Ride are non-refundable.
You will receive event newsletters and event information via email. By agreeing to these terms and conditions you give your consent to receive this information.

Photographs taken on the day of the ride may be used for promotional purposes. By agreeing to these terms and conditions you are agreeing to any photographs of you being used in this way.
I understand and accept that this event is not a race or trial of speed, but a personal challenge and as such there will be no list published which sorts riders either in finishing time or finishing position order.
I accept and understand that where the event takes place on the open road I must abide by the Highway Code at all times. I am aware that when riding on a public highway the function of marshals is only to indicate direction and that I must decide whether the movement is safe. Please do not ride more than two abreast, or in a manner likely to cause obstruction.
You will be disqualified from the ride if you have not given us the following personal details: name, address, date of birth and emergency contact details. Participants will be responsible for the roadworthiness and safe working order of their own bicycle. The wearing of Hard Shell Style Helmets is compulsory.
If the event is held in poor or little light, then front and rear lights must be used and must have adequate battery life for the duration of the event. No accompanying vehicles are allowed to follow riders, with the exception of the official TEAM ITFC Support vehicles. Any participant failing to observe this regulation will be withdrawn from the event.
You may not use your mobile phone while riding. You must stop at the side of the road if you need to make or receive a call. You may not use a music player with headphones while participating in the event.
Although not compulsory, we recommend that all cyclists take out their own personal cycling insurance to cover themselves and their bikes for the duration of challenge. Please find to follow some options:

I understand and agree that I participate in this event entirely at my own risk, that I must rely on my own ability in dealing with all hazards, and that I must ride in a manner which is safe to myself and others and I am aware this is a non-competitive cycling event.  I declare that I am fit and healthy to participate in the challenge and I understand the risks involved. I accept that if I do not abide by these terms and conditions that the organisers will make all reasonable efforts to remove me from the event, and that the organiser will use all effort to restrict participation in future Team ITFC Cycle Ride events. The Ipswich Town Foundation and Futurestars Charity will not be held responsible nor accepts liability for injuries or health issues caused or aggravated by participating. Both entities reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone whose medical conditions deem them to be at risk.

The registration fee for this event is Non-Refundable.
