Advancing the development & wellbeing of children with vision impairment
Thank you for your interest in the upcoming Mary Kitzinger Trust workshop:
“Promoting successful futures for young people with visual impairment”
Mary Kitzinger Trust workshops are for professionals who work with children and young people with vision impairment (including specialist teachers, researchers, health professionals, habilitation specialists, psychologists and those working in the charity sector).
This workshop has been designed to focus on research and practice aspects related to promoting positive outcomes for young people with VI. We have invited experts in the field to present a diverse range of topics, including the new Curriculum Framework, promoting positive adjustment and supporting career success. A further presentation is planned and details will be published shortly.
There will be dedicated time for open discussion and delegates will have the opportunity to network with others throughout the day.
The cost for attending the workshop is £25 (students/retired £15) this includes refreshments and a sandwich lunch.
