Go International: Mobility Makes a Difference

UK higher education institutions are offering more opportunities than ever for their students to go abroad, but why is this mobility important? The Go International 2016 conference will explore the impact of outward student mobility on individuals, institutions and society, bringing together mobile students, graduates, institutions, and experts from at home and abroad. By the end of the conference delegates will be equipped with the latest research, evidence and insights on mobility impact to help inform their outward mobility strategies. The Conference will also provide opportunities for knowledge-sharing and networking with other delegates, including a closing drinks reception sponsored by IES Abroad.

The keynote address will be delivered by Professor Colin Riordan – President and Vice Chancellor, University of Cardiff. Other agenda highlights include a panel of mobile graduates, discussing the impact of their time abroad. For the full agenda please click here.

The event is being hosted by the UK Higher Education International Unit as part of its implementation of the UK Strategy for Outward Mobility.

This event discusses strategic and operational issues related to study and work abroad. It will be of particular interest to academics involved in international exchange collaborations, staff from international and study abroad offices, careers departments, widening participation offices, marketing and recruitment.
