This online session will give an overview of the structure of the Indian school education system with a focus on Standard X and Standard XII qualifications.

It includes practical guidelines on the interpretation and understanding of educational documentation.

The course will also be useful to people from professional bodies, nationality & immigration solicitors, recruiters, work permit and visa agencies, careers / guidance / refugee and asylum seekers advisers.

• Understand of the structure of the Indian secondary school education system and how the associated qualifications compare with the UK's education system

• Understand where to find further information about the Boards of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education

• Understand whether English and Maths levels from secondary qualifications meet GCSE grades 9-4 from different Boards of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education
