This session will give an overview of the principles of recognising professional qualifications, from the UK and overseas, both for professional recognition and academic transfer purposes.
It includes information on the evaluation processes for recognising national professional qualifications, as well as those that typically fall outside of the national qualification systems, with examples taken from a variety of sectors.
The objectives of the session are:
- To explain the criteria Ecctis uses to assess professional qualifications
- To identify the differences between national and non-national professional awards
- To demonstrate real examples of professional awards, and explain how each can be assessed for study or work purposes
