The Observatory for Borderless Higher Education 2.0

Overview

In this webinar we will be hearing from Prof. Perry Hobson and Carolyn Campbell OBE, about the future plans for the Observatory of Borderless Higher Education (OBHE) in its renewed form, and their views about some of the key trends and developments in the current challenging and evolving international education landscape

The OBHE has provided authoritative comparative analyses of trends and developments in transnational education for more than 20 years, facilitating the growth of a borderless and inclusive community spanning academics and professional staff, sector and government bodies, established and new higher education institutions, and organisations operating in the international education sphere. After a sabbatical break, it has resumed activities, powered by The Institute of Leadership & Management, at a time where independent thought leadership on international education is more needed than ever.

· Prof. Perry Hobson has been the Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Global Engagement at Sunway University (Malaysia), but is the newly appointment Director of the Academy of Tourism at Breda University of Applied Sciences (The Netherlands), and is a member of the OBHE Advisory Board.

· Carolyn Campbell, OBE, is a leading international education expert. She is a member of the OBHE Advisory Board, as well as member of the Advisory Council of the CHEA International Quality Group, member of Hult International Business School Academic Board, and member of the EQAR Appeals Committee.

Dr. Fabrizio Trifiro’, Head of Quality Benchmark Services at Ecctis, will be chairing the session and facilitating discussion.

This will be an interactive session, where delegates will be able to ask questions and inform discussion.
