Overview
This session will give an overview of the structure of the Pakistani education system with a focus on entry to tertiary studies, higher education and accreditation as well as recent developments and changes.
There will be a focus on the Higher Secondary School Certificate, as well as two-, three-, and four-year Bachelor degrees.
It includes practical guidelines on the interpretation and understanding of educational documentation.
Objectives
The key objectives of the training are to:
- Provide attendees with an in-depth review of the Pakistani education system
- Discuss specific features of documentation to understand applications and applicants’ education history and suitability for study
- Focus on case studies and delve into some of the specific issues that may arise when assessing these qualifications
- Develop the ability to identify and classify qualifications within the extensive range of awards available within each sector of these education systems.
Target Audience
This course is recommended for university and college staff involved with entry to undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
