Overview
The second of two webinars on education in North America looks at Canada. This session focuses on how the delivery of secondary education differs by province. It looks at the secondary diplomas from the most populous provinces and provides hints and tips on what to look for in the certification. The webinar considers how subjects like maths and English can vary by province, a reflection of the modular curriculum. We look at subjects and indicators that provide best preparation for higher education. The session looks at the many post-secondary certificates and diplomas on offer and looks at those that might be deemed appropriate for access to UK higher education. A session that completes insight into North American education and provides useful strategies for handling Canadian student admissions.
