International students: navigating the UK's compliance requirements - an introduction for admissions staff (Session 2)

Overview

Supporting international applicants through their application is fundamental part of the duty of care that universities and colleges provide to international students. We will examine the common issues when engaging with international applicants and explore ways of overcoming some of the key difficulties.

Experts in international education, credential evaluation and immigration compliance will share their thoughts and expertise to ensure that delegates understand the important elements of best practice in international student admissions and how these can be applied.

Ways of ensuring the international students are willing, able, ready and suitable for entry into higher education will also be examined. The session will also highlight best practice in recording evidence on student records.

Delegates will also receive best practice tips in how to meet the Home Office’s Student Route compliance requirements.

The webinar will predominately focus on the UK environment, but the issues and points raised can be considered best practice internationally and will therefore be of use to staff and institutions outside the UK.

We anticipate this webinar will be presented in association with a specialist immigration firm.

webinars is presented in association with Eversheds Sutherland and supported by Pearson PTE.
