Evaluating international qualifications (Core session)

Overview

This session will help delegates read and understand education documents and therefore be able to evaluate them. The documents considered will be from secondary and HE levels and the case studies used will include documents in the original language as well as translations into English, across a range of markets. Evaluation methodologies will be discussed, and there will be a focus on the key resources that can be used to support qualification evaluation.

Delegates will understand how to develop a systematic approach to the evaluation of overseas qualifications, identifying the most able students and making an offer, through the application of their learning to case studies and scenarios.

This will be a highly interactive session and will last 3 hours.
