Overview
Given the vast diversity in qualifications across international contexts, fair, informed, and robust approaches to evaluating international qualifications can be challenging and features of qualifications presented can be easily misinterpreted.
In this session we will explore evaluation methodologies to support a multifaceted and holistic approach to qualification evaluation and mobility outcomes across areas such as duration, content, learning outcomes as well as other components. Particular focus will also be given to how qualifications relate to wider international frameworks.
There will be an interactive focus on reading and understanding education documents from secondary and HE levels, and the case studies used will include documents in the original language as well as translations into English.
This will be a highly interactive session and will last 3 hours.
