A newly designed training day for those who are at the start of their career in international admissions.
Experts in international education, credential evaluation, immigration compliance, English language proficiency and student engagement will share their thoughts and expertise to ensure that delegates understand the important elements of best practice in international student admissions and how these can be applied.
This training day provides a concentrated and thorough introduction to the education system and qualifications of India, Pakistan and the Philippines and will focus on some of the challenges associated with key qualifications.
In addition, delegates will understand how to develop a systematic approach to the evaluation of overseas qualifications, identifying the most able students and making an offer.
Delegates will also learn about the international / cross-border qualifications which can be used for entry on to undergraduate programmes.
English language proficiency is a key issue in international admissions and the day includes an introduction to one of the commonly used tests, proficiency levels for admissions and how to use test scores in selecting students from overseas.
Delegates will also receive best practice tips in how to meet the Home Office’s Tier 4 compliance requirements.
