Briefing on the UK education system - an interactive webinar
Overview
This online session focuses on specific areas of the UK education system, covering qualifications that are encountered less often than the core qualifications used for entry into higher education including vocational qualifications and qualifications that don’t appear on the Ofqual register. In addition, the session will consider professional qualifications, such as ACCA qualifications. It aims to provide an opportunity to explore these areas of the UK system, using specific case exercises to reinforce understanding.
Target audience
Recommended for university and college staff, professional bodies, recruiters, work permit and visa agencies, careers / guidance / refugee and asylum seekers advisers.
Objectives
The key objectives of this training session are to:
- Understand more about less frequently encountered and non-traditional qualification used for entry into higher education
- Know where to find additional information on such qualifications
- Understand whether particular qualifications can be used for entry onto specific higher education courses

Delegates will receive a copy of all materials used. Delegates completing the course will also receive a UK NARIC certificate of completion.
