Following a season that saw First Team Manager, Lee Burch, continue with tradition of the club and promote young footballing talent from the club’s Dual Career Academy this is your chance to trial for Yeovil Town Ladies FC Youth Academy and begin your journey to rise up and be one of the club’s next stars.
Trial Information
Date: Tuesday 4thJune 2019
Location: Bridgwater and Taunton College, College Way, Bridgwater, TA6 4PZ.
Session Time: Under 12s – 1800-1930, U14s & U16s – 1930-2100.
Registration: Please arrive at least 15mins before the start of your session
Please note: The trial will be held on a 3G surface where boots with firm ground or moulded studs will only be allowed. No bladed, flat or pimpled surfaces will be allowed.
Following this initial trial, there will be an invite to second phase to those successful. This will be held on Tuesday 11th June 2019 at the same location and times.
Youth Academy Overview
In the 2018/19 season, Yeovil Town Ladies youth team squads played fixtures in the mixed leagues locally, meaning that the girls were playing against teams predominantly made up of boys. Next season, our Under 12s and Under 14s will continue to compete in these leagues where last season Under 13s were runners up. Whilst our Under 16s will become part of the inaugural Girls’ JPL Under 16s League as we prepare girls of that age group to make the step to the professional development phase of the club with the Dual Career Academy.
