BOOKING CONDITIONS

Wild Days, parties, clubs and camps run by 2Wild are a practical “hands-on” programme. Throughout their stay, children will be involved in a range of activities that are potentially hazardous though all activities are risk assessed and led by a qualified/experienced instructor.

Third Party/Personal Accident cover is provided, however participants will not be covered if:

• they act without the explicit consent of the instructor

• they act to endanger themselves or others

• they leave the group to which they have been designated

• medical conditions have not been disclosed by parents / guardians (particularly epilepsy, diabetes, asthma, mental llness, brain disorders, joint or bone conditions, heart or blood conditions, other physical/learning disability)

• consent has not been given stating agreement with the above information and conditions.

Please bring:

1.    Packed lunch and a drink in a small rucksack

2.    Warm old clothes, which you do not mind getting wet or muddy.

3.    Gloves and woolly hat in cold weather, sun hat and sun cream if hot.

4.    Long trousers, no matter what the weather, to protect from brambles and nettles.

5.    Waterproof jacket (and trousers if you have them.)

6.    Wellington boots – fantastic for mud or long wet grass.

7.    Strong shoes, boots or trainers if the weather is very dry.

8.    Unnecessary valuables should not be brought on this activity.

Please arrive at the designated drop-off point at least 5 minutes before the event starts. When picking children up, please be at the pick-up point in plenty of time.

On occasion, participants may be provided with equipment. This must be used in the approved manner at all times.

All participants must remain in any teaching area designated by instructors. Any decision taken by the instructors is final. Participants acting irresponsibly or posing a threat to themselves or others shall be removed from the activity. 

DATA PROTECTION

Under the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) Act 2018, any confidential information regarding your child will not be stored by 2Wild or passed on to third parties without your consent, unless it is of a child protection nature (in which case information will be shared with the appropriate agencies). The data will only be stored at the centre until the activity is complete.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Booking an event constitutes acceptance of this policy. A booking is deemed to have taken place upon receipt of an electronic or paper booking form and full payment.

Parties

Cancellation of a party can be made without charge up to 28 days before the booking

Parties cancelled between 28 days and 14 days before the party are liable for 50% of the charge

Parties cancelled between 14 days and 7 days before the party are liable for 75% of the charge

Cancellations made 6 days or less before the party are liable for the full charge.  

Clubs, Workshops and Adventures

Cancellation of the above activities can be made without charge up to 14 days before the booking

Clubs, Workshops or Adventures cancelled 14 days or less before the session are liable for 50% of the full charge.

Expeditions

Cancellation of attendance on an expedition can be made without charge up to 28 days before the booking

Attendance cancelled between 28 days and 14 days before the expedition will be liable for 50% of the full charge.

Attendance cancelled 14 days or less before the expedition will be liable for the full charge. 

Cancellation by 2Wild

2Wild reserves the right to change or cancel an event due to circumstances outside its control and where it is deemed that customers and staff may be put at risk. Circumstances include (but are not limited to) adverse weather conditions such as heavy snow, high winds and flooding. In the event of a cancellation 2Wild will refund the value of the booking, seek a suitable placement on a similar event or rearrange the date of the event.
